Have had a few questions asked of me lately in regard to EA/Dice's rapid release of Battlefield Hardline, so I thought I would just put a few concerns to rest. Firstly after playing the beta I have no doubt that Hardline will be a popular title for many. Its certainly different offering fast past vehicular mayhem in muscle cars and dense urban environments, more akin to what we are used to from games like GTA then traditional Battlefield. It's because of this, and after playing the game for several hours now that I can assure the Battlefield purists, that the new and unexpected title won't be replacing Battlefield 4 any time soon. In fact if anything I feel it only goes to ensure BF4's longevity in some respects as BF4 will remain the premier "Big Battle" experience. Hardline will certainly cater for a few, but it certainly isn't going to replace Battlefield 4 anytime soon from the looks of it and with several more DLC's still yet to come out for BF4, the game has a lot of life left in it yet. So with that said, I'm happy to say that I think OHL will be around for some time yet, at very least so long as there are Platoons out there willing to be apart of it, even with the uncertainty of a new Battlefield title coming out, Like Battlefield 2 which still gets played religiously to this day Battlefield 4 won't be going anywhere anytime soon, and the way things are turning out it just may be the last big battle "War Fighter" we see from the "Battlefield" franchise for a while. Hardline will be popular, but both titles will have their place, and we hope the OHL will be continuing to offer HC ladders for the Bf4 community for many more moons to come. - Drift
