Firstly sorry for the delay troops, I did hope to have the first round under way this Friday, unfortunately we've all been a little time hungry this week so we're a little behind. Furthermore, we have had several more platoons express interest in joining and we would really like to finalize the numbers before we begin. Once the ladder is under way it is locked and no platoons can join from that point on (until the next ladder obviously). That said, we're making good progress and the numbers are slowly increasing and on behalf of the whole community I'd like to thank each and every clan for giving these ladders a go. We think it's about time this HC community you and I populate get's a decent ladder. Competition unites us as players and as individual platoons and it's awesome to see the community coming together for this the first Oceanic Hardcore Ladder for Battlefield 4.
UPDATES.
> The official 18 slot Oceanic Hardcore Cup server is now online, we're going to work on it over coming days to have it setup and ready to go. Note* 2 spectator slots will be available to OHL administration to a/ view suspected hackers and b/ to record the games so the whole community can see what went down after the fact with some commentary. (maybe not every game, maybe one game a week, we'll see how many platoons sign up and how much time we have to do it)
> Although we had hoped to run the first round this Friday, with the introduction of new teams and some fine tuning of the ladder itself what we're looking to do is open poll's for Modes and Maps. *SO ALL PLATOON LEADERS PLEASE READ THE RULES AND BE READY TO VOTE FOR WHAT MAPS AND MODES YOU WILL LIKE TO PLAY FOR THE FIRST ROUND. - Platoon leaders will be able to vote from 6pm AEST Friday 31/1/14.
> INTERIM LADDER can be viewed once logged into challonge.com @ ohl.challonge.com/feb2014 (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT FINISHED, MORE PLATOONS TO BE ADDED ETC, BUT THIS IS WHERE YOU WILL FIND YOU RESULTS WEEK BY WEEK.)
> Server will be publicly available from tomorrow, hopefully by early next week we will have maps and modes locked in, and we can start booking the server for scriming platoons from Friday next week. (Calender will go up this weekend with booked time slots etc. - A thread will be created and times negotiated there).
> Q and A with OHL admins in thefrequency mumble channel from 6PM AEST. - If you have any questions and would like to speak to someone in person then you will have an opportunity from 6 tomorrow guys. For the most part all questions should be asked through these forums, but we have some allocated time on thefrequency's mumble channel to answer some questions - download mumble from mumble.com then simply look for thefrequency.com.au in the public server listing. (PM me in these forums if you have any issues connecting.)
Thanks again for everyone's patience and stay tuned. We're very close to our first round of the year!
