Firstly want to say a massive congrats to BLS, RprZ, ATG and PHLB for getting their first rounds of the competition out of the way. They have been great to watch and you should all be proud of your efforts. - Remember to check out ohl.challonge.com to see the latest results.
The video of both matches can be found here: www.youtube.com/user/freqplatoon This is a temporary place to put the footage until we can work on something more fitting. The videos can also be seen directly from the ohl.net.au index page.
* Special announcement on Rules.
Yesterday evening we came across for the first time in the new format, a situation where both Platoons had destroyed the same amount of MCOMs in Rush - Siege of Shanghai. The winner of Rush is determined by whoever can get more MCOMS, however in this situation both teams had managed to get 2 and 2 only. The rules have been adapted to describe what happens in this situation and I'd ask all to please read through the updated rules so everyones on the same page.
In instances where this happens, from now on the Platoons will be asked if they wish to replay the round, IF EITHER platoon chooses not to replay the Round - BOTH platoons will receive 1 point each. However if both platoons do decide to replay the match and there is a clear winner, then that platoon will get 2 points instead of the regular 1.
Also a situation arose where a player from a competing platoon was found to be spectating the game without permission. This will be brought up in the next leader meeting however from here on PLEASE BE ADVISED, IF YOU ARE SPECTATING A GAME YOUR PLATOON IS CURRENTLY PLAYING, YOU ARE DOING THE WRONG THING. SPECTATING ANY MATCH WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM OHL AND THE COMPETING TEAMS WILL RESULT IN AN IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION OF YOUR PLATOON, PLEASE TAKE HEED.
Please stay tuned for more updates and well done to all who have participated so far.
